  1. Rhyming Nature Cards

    Review by Emily Dalby @freerangeedventurer

We received one of the new additions to the website today, the Rhyming in Nature cards. They are a really good size, the illustrations of the animals are absolutely beautiful and it's brilliant that they look like true representations of the animals and not cartoon like as some other animal cards tend to be.

  2. Early Maths Fun

I am a home educating mum of two, my son, is a very visual and physical learner, he remembers things so much better if there is something more than a written work sheet, or if he can physically engage in the learning. He also is a storyteller and loves it when the world around him is encompassed in the story too. Because of this I try to create learning experiences that fit with his learning style. I love using resources from The Wooden Play Den with him – here are a few of our most played ‘learning’ games.

  3. Small Business Showcase

I love finding new small businesses, and when doing my Christmas shopping last year I found Sew Dawn to Earth who had been recommended by a few of my team. I ordered some snoods for my children and niece and they were super comfy and beautifull made. I will definately be ordering again.

Dawn then joined by team at The Wooden Play Den and its great to have a fellow business owner onboard. She was the perfect candidate for Small Business Showcase.
