I am sure like many of you I have been touched by the scenes in Afghanistan and the plight of so many to find safer shores for their families.

 

 

 

Many families have recently arrived in my local area and are currently quarantined in hotels. I have been in touch with organisations supporting these families and have been informed that Afghan families often have between 6-8 children and many are of primary school age or younger. They have come to this country for a better life but don’t have many or any belongings with them.

 

I’d love to be able to provide a special toy for the children, something of their very own.

 

If you would like to help me deliver a bundle of toys to the refugees next week, I am collecting donations. You can either buy a gift voucher (starting at £5) and I will pick something out or you can buy a specific toy for me to donate to them.
